Golden Ticket Promotion Terms & Conditions
FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Find a winning Golden Ticket inside selected bales of Sundown Yellow horse bedding.
- PROMOTER
- The promoter is Sundown Products Limited, company number 03896568, whose registered office is at The Old Mill, Station Road, Tilbrook, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE28 0JY (the Promoter).
- ABOUT THE PROMOTION
- The Sundown Golden Ticket Promotion gives eligible customers the opportunity to find a winning Golden Ticket inside selected bales of Sundown Yellow horse bedding.
- Promotional bales will be available in the physical premises of participating stockists in Great Britain as promotional stock arrives from mid October 2026, while stocks last. Availability and arrival dates will vary between stockists. Promotional bales purchased online are not included in this promotion.
- Promotional bales will be sold at the ordinary retail price set by each participating stockist. No additional charge is made to take part in the promotion.
- A total of 300 Golden Tickets will be placed into promotional stock. Winning tickets will be spread evenly across 300 pallets of promotional stock.
- The availability of promotional stock is limited. Although 300 Golden Tickets will be placed into promotional stock, the Promoter cannot guarantee that every ticket will be found and validly claimed before the claim deadline.
- ELIGIBILITY
- The promotion is open only to individuals who are aged 18 or over and resident in Great Britain, meaning England, Scotland or Wales, when the Golden Ticket is found and claimed.
- The following people may not take part or claim a prize:
- employees, directors or officers of the Promoter;
- employees, directors or officers of any wholesaler, distributor, participating stockist; and
- the immediate family members and members of the household of any person listed above.
- For these purposes, immediate family includes a spouse, civil partner, partner, parent, step parent, child, stepchild, grandparent or grandchild, whether or not they live in the same household.
- The right to claim belongs only to the eligible individual who first finds the Golden Ticket inside the bale. A Golden Ticket must not be sold, gifted or otherwise transferred to another person. The claimant will be required to confirm that they are the original finder.
- One prize may be claimed for every valid Golden Ticket. The same eligible person may claim more than one prize if they are the original finder of each Golden Ticket and each claim otherwise complies with these terms.
- PRIZES
- The 300 available prizes are:
- 10 prizes of £100 of Sundown bedding; and
- 290 prizes of one bale of Sundown Yellow horse bedding.
- The prize shown on the Golden Ticket is the only prize that may be claimed using that ticket.
- A £100 Sundown bedding prize may be used against any Sundown bedding that is stocked by the participating stockist where the winning bale was purchased. The products will be valued at that stockist’s usual retail prices at the time of redemption, including VAT where applicable.
- The full £100 prize must be used in one transaction. If the selected products cost more than £100, the winner must pay the difference. If the selected products cost less than £100, the unused amount will be forfeited. No change, refund, voucher or store credit will be provided.
- A one bale prize entitles the winner to collect one bale of Sundown Yellow horse bedding from the participating stockist where the winning bale was purchased.
- All prizes must be collected from a participating stockist. Delivery, travel and any other costs associated with claiming or collecting a prize are not included.
- The right to claim a prize is personal to the original finder. Prizes cannot be claimed by or transferred to another person and cannot be exchanged for cash, other products, vouchers or store credit, except as expressly stated in these terms.
- If the stated prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may provide a reasonable alternative of equal or greater value. This does not give a winner the right to request a different prize.
- The 300 available prizes are:
- HOW TO CLAIM
- All Golden Tickets must be presented during normal opening hours to the participating stockist where the winning bale was purchased, no later than 31 March 2027. A ticket found or presented after this deadline is void and no prize will be awarded.
- If the stockist linked to the ticket has permanently closed or cannot supply the prize within a reasonable period, the claimant must contact the Promoter at sales@sundownproducts.co.uk or on 01480 860 745 no later than 31 March 2027. The Promoter may nominate another participating stockist. Contact made by the deadline will preserve the claim while an alternative collection arrangement is considered, provided the ticket and claim are otherwise valid.
- The original physical Golden Ticket must be presented. Photographs, scans, photocopies, ticket numbers given without the ticket, and other reproductions will not be accepted.
- The ticket must be complete and its unique number and other authenticity features must be legible. A ticket may be rejected if it has been altered, defaced, tampered with or damaged to the extent that its authenticity cannot reasonably be verified.
- The original ticket must be surrendered to the stockist when the prize is claimed. It will be retained and sent to the Promoter. A ticket cannot be used more than once.
- The claimant must complete the promotion claim form, providing their name, email address, telephone number and ticket number. They must also declare that they:
- are aged 18 or over;
- are resident in Great Britain;
- are the original finder of the ticket;
- are not excluded under clause 7; and
- have complied with these terms.
- The Promoter may ask for reasonable evidence of the claimant’s age, identity or Great Britain residence where this is necessary to verify eligibility or investigate a suspected invalid or fraudulent claim.
- The claim form may also offer the claimant the option to receive marketing emails from Sundown Products Limited. This will be a separate, optional choice and will not be selected in advance. Refusing marketing or later withdrawing consent will not affect the claim or prize.
- Following reasonable inspection of the original ticket and completion of the claim form, the stockist will normally release the prize at the time of claim, subject to product availability. The stockist will then submit the ticket and claim details to the Promoter for central verification.
- Lost, stolen or destroyed tickets cannot be replaced. The Promoter is not responsible for a Golden Ticket that is lost before it is surrendered to the stockist.
- TICKET VERIFICATION AND FRAUD PREVENTION
- Every valid Golden Ticket has a unique number and may be redeemed only once. The Promoter will maintain a central record of valid ticket numbers, their allocated prizes, and their redemption status.
- The Promoter may investigate and reject or disqualify a claim where it has reasonable grounds and evidence to believe that:
- the ticket is counterfeit, copied, altered, tampered with or otherwise not an original Golden Ticket issued by the Promoter;
- the ticket number is invalid, has already been redeemed or was not allocated to the stockist where it was presented;
- the ticket was obtained through theft, fraud, misrepresentation, unauthorised access to stock or before a genuine retail sale;
- the ticket was sold, gifted or transferred to the claimant;
- the claimant has provided false or misleading information or documentation;
- the claimant is ineligible or excluded under these terms; or
- the claim otherwise breaches a specific requirement of these terms.
- The Promoter may ask the claimant, stockist, wholesaler or distributor for information reasonably required to investigate a suspected invalid or fraudulent claim. The Promoter will act reasonably and will not reject a claim merely on unsupported suspicion.
- If a prize has already been released and the Promoter later establishes that the claimant knowingly participated in fraud, used a false or transferred ticket, or made a deliberately false declaration, the Promoter may recover the prize or its reasonable value and may take any other action available to it by law.
- Suspected theft, fraud, forgery or deliberate interference with promotional stock may be reported to the police or other relevant authorities.
- PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PUBLICITY
- Participating stockists will collect claim information on behalf of the Promoter. The information will be shared with the Promoter and used to administer the promotion, confirm eligibility, validate tickets, fulfil prizes, prevent fraud, deal with enquiries and demonstrate that prizes have been awarded correctly.
- Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and the Promoter’s privacy policy, available through the Sundown Products website. Claim information will be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the administration, audit and legal requirements of the promotion.
- Marketing emails will be sent only where the claimant has made a separate positive choice to receive them. Marketing consent may be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting the Promoter.
- The Promoter may make available the surname and county of residence of winners of the £100 prizes for the limited purpose of demonstrating that valid awards took place. A winner may object to publication or ask for the amount of information to be reduced by contacting the Promoter at the time of claim. The Promoter may still provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
- The Promoter will not use a winner’s photograph, testimonial or story for promotional publicity without obtaining separate consent. Agreeing to publicity is not a condition of receiving a prize.
- ADMINISTRATION AND LIABILITY
- The Promoter is responsible for administering the promotion fairly. Its decisions on ticket validity, eligibility and claims will be made reasonably by reference to these terms and the promotion records.
- The Promoter is not responsible for a failure to claim by the deadline, a stockist’s normal opening hours, or loss caused by a claimant providing inaccurate contact information. Where a linked stockist has closed or cannot supply a prize, clause 6 (c) will apply.
- The Promoter will not be liable for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable or was not caused by its breach of these terms or negligence.
- Nothing in these terms affects a participant’s statutory consumer rights.
- CHANGES OR CANCELLATION
- The Promoter will not change the claim deadline or materially amend, suspend or cancel the promotion unless circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable and the change can be made fairly without materially disadvantaging participants who have already taken part.
- If an unavoidable event affects the advertised prizes, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to minimise disappointment and honour valid claims using the advertised prize or a reasonable equivalent.
- QUESTIONS AND COMPLAINTS
- Questions or complaints about the promotion should be sent to sales@sundownproducts.co.uk, telephoned to 01480 860 745, or posted to Sundown Products Limited, The Old Mill, Station Road, Tilbrook, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE28 0JY.
- GOVERNING LAW
- These terms are governed by English law. As a consumer, a participant may bring legal proceedings in the courts of the part of Great Britain in which they live.
