Operations Manager

Sundown is looking for a new Operations Manager to run its busy manufacturing plant, which produces a range of straw-based products, from horse bedding to livestock feed, and cat litter. This is a full time, senior position reporting direct to the Managing Director. As such, you’ll be a key part of the management team and have responsibility for two teams of people, in engineering and production.

The role requires someone with a hands-on and ‘can-do’ attitude, who enjoys solving problems and innovating to improve the plant and operations. You’ll need to be a multi-skilled engineer, with relevant qualifications and demonstrable experience in similar roles.

This is an opportunity to be part of a small family-owned and run business at an exciting time. New product development is part of Sundown’s DNA and you will play an important role in bringing the production element of this to life.

Salary range: £55 – 70k p.a.
Location: Kimbolton or as reasonably required
Hours: Full time
